Whidbey island, second group

These pictures were taken on our way to Deception pass. They are from the dock waiting for the ferry, the ferry, and a tiny knoll just outside a thrift store on the island. my Aunt looooooves thrift stores, and this was a huge one, so my cousin Sam, Erik, and I waited outside, taking pictures, and listening to music.

Happy fourth!

I try to take pictures of the fireworks every year, and they never really turn out. But, they're colorful and pretty, so I like them anyway :) This year we were lazy, and watch the fireworks from the scenic pull off stop on the way down to the lake. It's only a few blocks form out house, and mad a lovely evening stroll. We could see fireworks to the east of Seattle in who knows how many cities, one girl was counting and said 8. But, except for the country club fireworks on our shore, none of them were very close. Next year, I want to do a little research, and find the best water-side spot for fireworks.

Rosario head preview

It's been a busy week, I've fallen behind on updating. But, I do have lots and lots of pictures for you! Here is a small preview of a series from rosario head, in deception pass state park, on Whidbey island, WA. I'm giving you all this info because if it's not already, it should be on your "to visit some day" list.

Also, if you click on them, you'll get the big version, and these are at least desktop size.

Snow pictures from last sunday

It snowed again on Thurs, but Erik has had the camera. I've had to take pictures with actual film. It's been ... different. The shutter noise is weird, kinda clunky.

In any case, these pictures are of, dawn, lake Washington, snow, and Erik. Those of you who know me will know that there's one of those things I don't normally have anything to do with.
