It's nearly done. All the squares are in rows, and almost all of the rows are sewn together. there are just 3 more down at the bottom that need to be attached to the main piece. Unfortunately, I sewed row 7 upside down (don't ask me how - they're all clearly marked on the back). So, last night I took out the seems, and I resewed it this morning. I learned that taking out seems takes a lot more work than putting them in. there must be an easier way.

ReplyDeleteit looks so good! i miss sewing/projects that involve fabric/beads etc. and not 3rd and 5th graders and rubber boots.
ReplyDeleteI hate taking out seams! That's why patterns always tell you to baste before actually sewing it, it's easier to take out that way, but I never do it either! It still looks great :)
